Glass Hurricane Sconce is made of Borosilicate glass. This durable type glass is different than regular glass. It is specifically designed to not crack under extreme temperature-changes. Glass is relatively thin, use care when placing in burner/holder. Do not force glass chimney into holder.

Measuring Glass Hurricane Sconce

• When selecting replacement hurricanes: first determine base diameter, known as the fitter. Bottom diameter is measured outside edge to outside edge. Most sconces have a 1-5/8" fitter size.
• Height is a matter of personal taste. It should be proportional to lamp, sconce or candlestick.
• If having trouble getting an accurate diameter. Test by cutting a ring to needed diameter. Slip down over burner to check fit.
